Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires engaging with various project components to ensure that the software solutions align with organizational goals. The workday often includes collaborating with different teams to understand requirements, developing application features, and refining configurations to optimize performance and usability. Continuous evaluation and adjustment of the applications are part of the daily routine to maintain alignment with evolving business demands and technical standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Ensure the quality and efficiency of applications through thorough testing and validation.
- Document application designs, configurations, and processes to support knowledge sharing and maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Pega CSA and CSSA certification.
-Proficiency in Pega Platform.
- Experience in designing and configuring business process management applications using Pega Platform.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and software development methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the Pega environment.
- Familiarity with integrating Pega applications with external systems and databases.
- Skilled in optimizing application performance and ensuring scalability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 4 years of experience in Pega Platform.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
