Summary:
As a Business Analyst, We are looking for a skilled Payments Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on SEPA and DKK payments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in European and Nordic payment schemes, cross-border transactions, and end-to-end workflows. They will be responsible for gathering business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting the implementation of compliant, efficient payment solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Act as a Payments SME for SEPA and DKK payments, ensuring compliance with EPC, NPC, SEPA, and P27 frameworks.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for SEPA Credit Transfers (SCT), Direct Debits (SDD), instant payments, and DKK clearing transactions.
- Collaborate with business users, product teams, and technology stakeholders to design solutions aligned with industry best practices and regulatory mandates.
- Work extensively with ISO 20022 formats (PAIN, PACS, CAMT) and validate the impact of regulatory changes.
- Define and support batch processing logic for SEPA and DKK payments, ensuring accurate settlement and reconciliation.
- Partner with technical teams to design and test payment workflows, validation rules, and exception handling.
- Support UAT, SIT, and production deployment, ensuring test cases align with business scenarios and compliance requirements.
- Analyze and troubleshoot payment failures, rejections, and compliance checks, providing remediation strategies.
- Ensure alignment with AML, KYC, fraud control, and compliance frameworks for SEPA and DKK transactions.
- Provide training and guidance to junior analysts on SEPA rules, Nordic clearing mechanisms, and batch processing structures.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Payments, with expertise in SEPA and DKK payments, and preferably other local schemes or cross-border payments.
- Strong knowledge of SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT), instant payments, and Nordic clearing systems.
- Experience in batch processing, reconciliations, and settlement workflows.
- Hands-on expertise in ISO 20022 formats (PAIN, PACS, CAMT) and message transformations.
- Familiarity with payment gateways, clearing systems, and correspondent banking networks.
- Ability to analyze payment regulations, compliance frameworks, and fraud risk controls.
- Proficiency in SWIFT messaging, AML screening, and transaction monitoring is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, and BA tools.
- Basics of Kafka for payment event streaming.
- Command Line proficiency for troubleshooting and batch operations.
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and SOAP services for payment integrations.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Clear2Pay.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Banking, IT, or related fields.
- Certifications in Payments, SEPA, or ISO 20022 standards are a plus.
- Prior experience working with banks, fintech, or payment service providers.
