We are looking for a highly skilled ABAP Manager to join our team. In this role, you will configure and support packaged or SaaS applications, adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability. You will leverage standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with business needs while maintaining compatibility and performance. As a subject matter expert in SAP ABAP, you will lead the team, drive key decisions, and provide solutions to complex challenges across multiple teams. This position requires independent performance, active collaboration, and a problem-solving mindset to deliver impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Configuration and Support:

  • Configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to adapt features and ensure system stability.
  • Develop innovative solutions that enhance application performance and user experience.
  • Conduct regular assessments of system stability and implement necessary improvements.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Facilitate training sessions for team members to ensure effective use of packaged applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Lead and mentor teams to foster collaboration, drive key initiatives, and deliver impactful results.

Solution Development and Implementation:

  • Utilize standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to design and implement solutions that align with business needs.
  • Ensure seamless integration of technology and processes to enhance operational efficiency and system performance.
  • Monitor project progress, provide updates to stakeholders, and ensure transparency and accountability throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve application configurations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to drive efficiency and scalability.

Subject Matter Expertise and Leadership:

  • Become a subject matter expert in SAP ABAP, providing guidance and expertise to the team.
  • Perform independently while driving key initiatives and delivering impactful results.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in SAP ABAP and application configuration.
  • Proven ability to analyze system performance and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in SAP ABAP, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in system stability assessments and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms is highly recommended.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Certifications:

  • SAP ABAP certification is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing packaged or SaaS applications and adapting features to business needs.
  • Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in application configuration and system performance.
