SAP Master Data Consultant (MDG / Data)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Master Data, Data Management, or SAP functional consulting roles
- Strong experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), including at least one master data domain (Customer, Vendor, Material, Business Partner, or Finance)
- Advanced proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), including master data objects and end‑to‑end business processes
- Solid understanding of master data governance concepts, data quality, validation rules, and lifecycle management
- Proven experience in business process analysis, current-state assessment, and future-state solution design
- Experience facilitating business and functional workshops to gather requirements and align stakeholders
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and system documentation
- Experience supporting implementation, testing, and UAT, in collaboration with technical and functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data analysis to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical audiences
Preferred / Nice to Have Qualifications
- Hands-on configuration experience in SAP MDG (data models, workflows, validation rules, reuse areas)
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC master data concepts
- Exposure to integration of master data with SD, MM, FI, or other SAP modules
- Experience with data migration, cleansing, and mass data loads (e.g., LSMW, BAPI, BODS)
- SAP certification in MDG, SD, or related functional modules
- Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or global delivery environments
- Ability to mentor junior team members or act as a subject matter expert within the workstream
