SAP Group Reporting (GR) Functional Senior Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Group Reporting (GR) Functional Senior Analyst with deep expertise in the SAP FICO module to join our team. In this role, you will lead the implementation of SAP Group Reporting solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and driving end-to-end performance improvements for financial consolidation processes. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor team members, and contribute to key decisions that impact both immediate and broader teams. This role requires advanced proficiency in SAP FICO, SAP Group Reporting, and business process design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Group Reporting Implementation:
Plan and lead the implementation of SAP Group Reporting activities to meet business requirements.
Design and configure consolidation structures, including company groups and consolidation units.
Configure consolidation rules, intercompany eliminations, and currency translation logic.
Define financial statement versions and ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
Business Process Analysis and Design:
Conduct process analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices.
Redesign organizational structures and processes to enhance performance and efficiency.
Align solutions with business requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and engagement.
Work closely with corporate finance teams to support month-end and year-end consolidation processes.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
Mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in SAP Group Reporting and FICO.
Collaborate with multiple teams to drive effective decision-making and problem-solving.
Provide solutions to complex problems that impact both immediate and cross-functional teams.
Project Management and Execution:
Develop and maintain project plans to track progress and manage resources effectively.
Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and successful implementation of solutions.
SAP Group Reporting Use Cases:
Consolidating financial data from multiple subsidiaries.
Managing intercompany eliminations and currency translation.
Preparing group-level financial statements.
Ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP consolidated reporting standards.
Supporting legal consolidation processes.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO and financial consolidation processes.
Proven expertise in implementing SAP Group Reporting solutions.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in SAP FICO, including configuration and business process design.
Strong knowledge of SAP Group Reporting functionalities, including consolidation rules, intercompany eliminations, and currency translation.
Familiarity with IFRS/GAAP standards and legal consolidation requirements.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Ability to lead workshops, manage teams, and drive decision-making processes.
Certifications: SAP FICO and/or SAP Group Reporting certification is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Agile or other project management methodologies.
Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in financial consolidation and reporting.
