Job Title: SAP MM Inventory Management Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Inventory Management Manager to oversee and optimize our inventory processes using SAP systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, and implementing best practices in inventory management. This role requires expertise in SAP MM module functionalities, inventory control, and supply chain processes to support the organization’s operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP MM Inventory Management:

  • Configure, implement, and maintain the SAP MM module for inventory management.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions, including goods receipts, goods issues, stock transfers, and adjustments.

Inventory Optimization:

  • Develop and implement inventory control strategies to improve stock accuracy and reduce carrying costs.

  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock replenishment processes.

  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to align inventory levels with business needs.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline inventory management processes and implement best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in inventory operations.

  • Support the implementation of automation and digital tools to enhance inventory management efficiency.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Generate and analyze inventory reports using SAP MM and other tools to provide insights to stakeholders.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, turnover, and stock levels.

  • Provide recommendations to improve inventory performance and reduce costs.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to end-users on SAP MM inventory management functionalities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to inventory transactions and SAP MM processes.

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for inventory management within the organization.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehouse, and finance, to ensure seamless inventory operations.

  • Coordinate with IT teams to address system enhancements, updates, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in SAP MM module with a focus on inventory management.

  • Strong understanding of inventory control processes, stock management, and supply chain operations.

  • Proficiency in SAP MM configuration, including material master data, inventory transactions, and reporting.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Certification in SAP MM or related modules is preferred.

  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Work Environment:
This role may involve working closely with warehouse teams, procurement professionals, and IT specialists. Occasional travel may be required to support inventory operations at different locations.
