SAP ABAP RAP Development Consultant
Accenture is seeking a Senior Analyst with expertise in SAP ABAP RAP Development to design and develop applications on SAP BTP ABAP Environment. This role focuses on building side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA, implementing services using OData V4, CDS views, and business services in a cloud-native approach, and ensuring seamless integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop applications using ABAP RAP on SAP BTP ABAP Environment.
Design and build side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA using SAP BTP.
Implement services using OData V4, CDS views, and business services in a cloud-native approach.
Develop Fiori Elements apps backed by RAP-based services.
Integrate with SAP and non-SAP systems using BTP APIs, destination services, and event mesh.
Follow clean core and clean architecture principles for extensibility.
Collaborate with functional consultants and other developers for end-to-end delivery.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.
Document technical specifications and development guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in ABAP RAP development on SAP BTP ABAP Environment.
Knowledge of building side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA using SAP BTP.
Proficiency in OData V4, CDS views, and business services development.
Experience in developing Fiori Elements apps backed by RAP-based services.
Familiarity with SAP BTP APIs, destination services, and event mesh for integration.
Understanding of clean core and clean architecture principles.
Strong collaboration skills to work with functional consultants and developers.
Experience in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.
Excellent documentation skills for technical specifications and development guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering); certifications in SAP ABAP RAP or SAP BTP are a plus.
