Role Overview:
As an Oracle Cloud Associate Project Manager at Accenture, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end Oracle Cloud implementation and transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and client satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to plan, execute, and monitor project activities across Oracle Cloud applications such as ERP, HCM, and SCM. This role combines project management excellence with a strong understanding of Oracle Cloud solutions to drive successful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the delivery of Oracle Cloud projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure efficient execution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
Coordinate and manage functional and technical teams across Oracle Cloud modules such as ERP, HCM, and SCM.
Support pre-sales activities, including proposal development, project estimation, and solution presentations.
Facilitate workshops, status meetings, and steering committee sessions with key stakeholders.
Track project financials, including cost, billing, and profitability management.
Ensure compliance with Accenture’s project delivery methodologies, governance, and best practices.
Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to project team members, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Support change management and user adoption activities during project implementation.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and contributing to knowledge management initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
4–8 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years managing Oracle Cloud implementation or support projects.
Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud applications (ERP, HCM, or SCM) and associated business processes.
Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or Smartsheet.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with client-facing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification is highly desirable.
Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
Prior experience in managing cross-functional Oracle Cloud teams across multiple geographies.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud implementation methodologies and accelerators.
Exposure to project financial management and reporting.
Experience in leading small to medium-sized Oracle Cloud projects or workstreams.
Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and its relevance in SaaS project delivery.
