Takaaki Haraguchi is Accenture’s client account lead for Accenture’s Growth Markets, which include Asia Pacific, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. In this role, he is responsible for building and growing relationships with the world’s leading companies operating in these markets to drive client value and co-innovation. A 27-year veteran of Accenture, he is also a member of the company’s Global Management Committee.
Prior to this role, Takaaki served as Accenture’s Products client group lead for Japan, responsible for strategy, sales, delivery and partnerships for clients in industries such as automotive, consumer goods & services, hospitality & travel, industrial equipment, infrastructure & transportation, life sciences and retail. He also serves as the global client account leader for a large Japanese multinational cosmetics company.
Previously, Takaaki has led Accenture’s Asia Pacific retail practice, helping significantly expand the company’s largest client relationships in the region. He is an active volunteer in his community, and supports Heartship Myanmar Japan, a nonprofit organization that provides food, housing and education for the people of Myanmar.
Takaaki earned a commercial science degree from the University of Keio.
