Senior Manager / Consulting Lead – Capital Markets, Asset Management & Operations Transformation

THE WORK
As a Senior Manager / Consulting Lead, you will combine deep Financial Services expertise with consulting leadership, client relationship management and business development.
You will:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, support account growth, sales pipelines and go-to-market initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships with senior executives and C-level stakeholders, leading client meetings, discovery sessions and strategic workshops.
- Lead proposals, RFP/RFI responses, commercial offers and executive presentations, defining scope, delivery models, estimates, roadmaps and business cases.
- Lead business and operational assessments and design Target Operating Models, transformation strategies and process optimization initiatives.
- Shape and support transformation programs across Capital Markets, Asset Management, Investment Operations, Securities Services, Custody, Fund Accounting, Asset Servicing, Derivatives Operations, Post-Trade Operations and Wealth Management.
- Collaborate with delivery teams, subject matter experts and technology partners to translate business objectives into transformation outcomes.
- Mentor consulting teams, support recruitment and talent development, and contribute to thought leadership, market insights and consulting offerings.
- Represent Accenture at client events, industry forums and executive discussions.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 15+ years of experience in Financial Services, with proven experience in consulting, business transformation, advisory or business development.
- Deep knowledge of Capital Markets, Asset Management and Investment Operations, including Securities Services, Custody, Fund Accounting, Asset Servicing, Reconciliations, Corporate Actions, Derivatives Clearing and Post-Trade Operations.
- Experience working with stakeholders across Investment Banking, Asset Management, Securities Services, Custody, Wealth Management and Capital Markets Operations.
- Proven track record in client engagement, consulting sales, proposal development and business development.
- Experience shaping and leading transformation programs, including Target Operating Model design, process redesign and operating model transformation.
- Strong experience facilitating executive workshops and presenting complex topics to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and shape consulting propositions.
- Experience leading cross-functional and international teams and managing complex programs in matrixed environments.
- Fluent English; German or another foreign language would be an advantage.
DOMAIN EXPERTISE & PLATFORM KNOWLEDGE
Strong understanding of industry platforms and solutions such as:
SimCorp Dimension, BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River IMS, Bloomberg AIM, State Street Alpha, Eagle Investment Systems, Broadridge, Clearwater Analytics, Calypso, Murex, Kondor+, FIS Capital Markets Solutions, as well as Reconciliation, Post-Trade, Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing and Collateral Management platforms.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
- Experience within a management consulting firm or financial technology/services organization.
- Experience leading international or multi-country transformation programs.
- Experience building and scaling consulting teams or capabilities.
- Professional certifications in project management, transformation or financial services.
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies and consulting offerings.
- Strong Financial Services network, particularly across Capital Markets and Asset Management.
- Experience with technology-enabled transformation and platform modernization.
