Power Platform Technical Architect

Job Description

This role works from start to finish on a technology transformation project with the ability to step in at any stage of the project lifecycle. The role also encompasses identifying scope and writing functional requirements and specifications. You’ll use your expertise to develop and support cost effective blueprints, estimates, and conceptual designs; and implement new requirements and solutions. You’ll be recognized internally and externally for your deep functional or industry expertise, domain knowledge, or offering expertise.

THE WORK:

  • Meets or exceeds agreed chargeability, business development, professional development and recruitment; and market facing metrics.

  • Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients and influence decision makers.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing business solutions to drive client transformations across industry, function and technology.

  • Implementation of programs and interventions to drive organizational change.

  • Shares knowledge with others through project teams or People Lead roles.

  • Refine practice capabilities through career counselling and guidance as a People Lead

  • Contribute to thought leadership within the practice.

  • Establishes a solid network across Accenture.

  • Refine the identification and management of sales opportunities with the support of Senior Managers.

  • Actively seek to increase the commercial footprint of the practice through delivery of quality product and advice.

  • Identity areas for improvement across the practice including industry best practice frameworks and methodologies.

  • Share experiences across the practice, providing insight into engagements.

  • The role requires a flexible and adaptable nature.

Qualifications

HERE'S WHAT YOU’LL NEED: ​  

    

Key Experience

  • Experience with Power Apps, Power BI, or Power Automate, as well as an understanding of D365, Azure, M365.

  • Enthusiasm to grow a high potential area.

  • Previous Consulting experience with ability to gather business requirements, create functional/technical designs; configure business process automations; extend the user experiences; develop Integrations using Microsoft Power Platform product suite.

  • Client-centric with ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical client stakeholders in a simplified manner for necessary buy-in, for a Platform of Intelligence that supports the client's new digital business experiences requirements.

  • Understanding of authentication, security, and application lifecycle management (ALM) practices for the Microsoft Power Platform.

  • Interested individual will need to have a strong sense of stewardship, to grow a community of like-minded professionals required to keep up with AMBG growth.

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Consulting experience operating at a senior, strategic level working alongside key, senior stakeholders.

Expertise

  • Successfully developed and deployed solutions using Canvas App, Power Portal, and Model Driven Apps, along with developing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents. Working knowledge of Common Data Services, AI Builder, and UI Flow would also be nice. Prior experience with D365 product stack is the icing on the cake.

  • Experience in integrating Power Platform solutions with external systems, data sources, and cloud services.

  • Hands-on development experience using Power FX, JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, C#, HTML, RESTful Web APIs, and Microsoft Azure.

  • Typically has a minimum of 5 to 12 years of experience doing similar work either at or outside of Accenture.

  • Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge in an area of expertise based on experience, and act in an advisory role in meetings.

  • Expected to be knowledgeable about the work performed by their immediate team and teams they collaborate with

Scope

  • Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.

  • Provided guidance to help them complete their work on a bi-weekly basis.

  • Expected to complete similar tasks on a weekly basis (not including responding to emails and attending meetings

  • Breadth of responsibilities extends across multiple teams' projects/work efforts.

  • If people management is part of their role, typically directly supervises up to 10 employees, and indirectly supervises up to 25 employees.
