SAP Basis Support Consultant


We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Support Consultant to join our dynamic Basis Support Team responsible for the management of the SAP environment for multiple customers. The responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, tuning, system restarts and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to multitask.

1. Systems Management: Perform daily/weekly system health checks to ensure optimal performance and system availability. This includes checking system logs, background jobs, system performance, and disk space usage.

2. System Monitoring: Monitor SAP systems for any issues that may arise. This includes monitoring and managing the SAP system workload, and system logs and expiring certificates.

3. Performance Tuning: Optimize system performance by tuning various SAP parameters and collaborate with the technical team to optimize hardware configuration and ensure efficient system workload management.

4. Transport Management: Manage and migrate SAP transports.

5. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues in a timely manner. This includes working with SAP users and other technical teams to resolve issues and ensure system stability.

6. Documentation: Document processes and How to Guides related to the SAP system. This includes maintaining existing system documentation.

7. User Support: Provide support to SAP users, including troubleshooting and resolving user issues, and providing training and guidance as needed.

8. Reporting: Writing monthly customer reports and recommendations for system improvements.

9. Security and Certificate renewal and monitoring: Renewal security certificates such as SSL, SAML etc



Strong skills in HANA, CALM, Solution Manager, BTP, Cloud Connector, ERP, BW, Web Dispatcher, NetWeaver systems, and Linux OS.

- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities

- Experience in SAP Basis support and administration
