Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, collaborating with different teams to understand system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of essential applications. The position demands continuous vigilance and adaptability to swiftly resolve challenges that impact business continuity and performance, fostering a reliable and efficient technology environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have influencing and Advisory skills.
- Engage with multiple teams and responsible for team decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams, and provide solutions to business area problems.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand system requirements and translate them into effective support strategies.
- Continuously analyze system performance data to anticipate potential issues and implement preventive measures.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise and guiding them through complex problem-solving scenarios.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data storage solutions.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues within large-scale data environments.
- Ability to work with SQL and scripting languages to support data operations and automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management processes to ensure timely resolution of system faults.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 18 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
