Oracle Financial Lead

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architects, maintains, defines, designs, delivers, and documents quality business and integrated application environments in compliance with configuration management processes and standards.  
  • Analyzes, designs, and monitor the implementation of application system components, enhancements, and lifecycle of Oracle implementations to meet business needs with minimal customization.  
  • Verifies that application configuration complies with Oracle best practices and recommends quality assurance procedures and measurement criteria.  
  • Performs alternatives analyses and makes recommendations to address existing and potential process and system trouble areas. Where necessary, builds prototype solutions, creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or project teams. 
  • Assists Delivery Lead in designing project approach, namely estimating/planning, developing work breakdown structures and setting functional priorities to improve efficiency and fulfill business objectives. 
  • Implements approved changes and ensures changes are appropriately documented. 
  • Define conversion strategy and lead the execution together with the team. 
  • Perform the necessary configuration (setup) and testing to deliver the intended business requirements. 
  • Create functional design for technical team with regards to reports, interfaces, conversion, extension, and workflow units 
  • Perform data conversion to follow the strategy set by the lead. 
  • Work closely with business users to align design with business requirements. 
  • Manage risks and issues on daily basis.
  • Play team lead roles in all stages from sales to delivery stages of project.



Qualification & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field.
  • Over 15 years of experience on Oracle ERP solutions. 
  • Has 8 – 10 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle Financial modules (E-Business Suite Financials) is preferred
  • Relevant certifications in Oracle EBS Financial modules.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Oracle Financial modules – GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, FAH.
  • Proficiency in configuring, implementing, customizing Oracle Financial applications to meet business requirements.

  • Ability to effectively persuade business users and other stakeholders through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
  • Good understanding of ERP market in South East Asia.
  • Ability to hold C-Level conversations in both sales and delivery stages of projects.
  • Strong sales acumen will be an advantage.
