Role Summary:
 
To provide supports in IT infrastructure monitoring, specializing in Nagios that monitors systems, networks and infrastructure. Applicants for this role must have prior experience in handling Nagios and able to do configurations and troubleshooting if there are any incidents with Nagios.
Requirements:
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure monitoring.
  • Have prior knowledge in infrastructure monitoring tools.
  • Basic knowledge on SAN Storage.
  • Must have prior experience working on SCOM operation manager, Nagios console and other monitoring tools console.
  • Having the additional knowledge in the following products (optional):
    • SCOM
    • Site Scope
    • HP Network Node Manager
    • HP Overview
    • Manage Engine
  • Proficient in observing the monitoring consoles and raise tickets as appropriate.
  • Able to work in 24x7 shift rotational for system monitoring.
  • Knowledge of network, servers, ticket creation and incident process update process will be additional advantages.
  • Knowledge of ticket creation
  • Able to work with minimal supervision in a distributed and virtual team environment.
  • Must be able to work with multiple teams, client and vendors.
  • Have self initiative to explore on monitoring features.
