Banking IT Systems Business Analyst - Payments

As a member of the Banking team, you will help financial institutions navigate transformation and drive growth by leveraging digital innovation, data, and technology. You will support clients in areas such as core banking modernization, payments, risk and compliance, and customer experience, enabling them to become more resilient, efficient, and customer-centric in a rapidly changing environment.

THE WORK:

• Preparing business and system specifications
• Supporting the integration of banking systems
• Participating in business and system testing activities
• Cooperating closely with business stakeholders and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct analyses, support testing (SIT/UAT)
• Act as a subject matter expert in the area of payments

​HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Min. bachelor’s degree
• Min. 1 year of experience in the role of Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Business‑Systems Analyst in projects delivered for financial institutions
• Experience working with transaction systems or core banking systems
• Domain knowledge of business areas in financial services (payments)
• Knowledge of at least one payment systems and payment types: Elixir, Express Elixir, BLIK, SORBNET, SEPA or SEPA Instant and the messages used within these systems
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
• Ability to gather and organize business and technical requirements
• Knowledge of banking standards and regulations
• Knowledge of the ISO 20022 standard
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent English and Polish communication skills (written & spoken) required

• The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office—depending on specific project circumstances.
