Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves steering the technical vision and architectural framework for bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The position demands active involvement in aligning technical solutions with organizational goals, fostering collaboration among team members, and overseeing the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The lead continuously monitors progress, addresses challenges, and adapts strategies to maintain quality and performance throughout the development process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and team productivity.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment between technical and business stakeholders.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Java Enterprise Edition.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java Enterprise Edition.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Experience with application performance tuning and scalability best practices.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with security standards.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
