"Data Integration is a key to the Big Data, Machine learning and AI worlds."
Ricardas is a professional data engineer who now uses his more than 10 years hands on experience at Accenture.
In his engineer career, he has mostly worked with data integrations like Data Warehousing, Data comparison or data transportation. He has also touched many ETL and DB technologies. He says that “Data Integration is a key to Big Data, Machine learning and AI worlds.” He is solution architect in his current project but likes that his role can be different in different projects. He can be tech lead, team lead or something else. That’s exciting in keeping work interesting and creating experience.
He is working on a project using data integrations from different sources, locations and countries (including most Nordic countries), transforming them into one common format and delivering it to various systems. All data integrations are to be performed quickly, not in real time, but keep it in mind.
