We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with solid experience in native mobile test automation using Espresso and/or XCUITest. 

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Android and iOS applications by designing, building and maintaining automated test frameworks. 

This is a hands-on technical role working closely with developers, QA engineers and product owners to embed automation and quality into every part of our delivery process. #LI-EU

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design, implement and maintain automated test suites for native Android and/or iOS applications using Espresso and/or XCUITest 

  • Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis and continuously improve automation reliability and performance 

  • Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria thoroughly, asking critical and relevant questions to clarify edge cases and improve testability 

  • Collaborate with developers, test engineers and product owners to integrate test automation and quality practices throughout the development lifecycle 

  • Troubleshoot critical issues, reproduce and verify reported bugs and drive continuous improvement in test coverage and stability 

  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of testing strategy, tooling and reporting within the mobile QA domain 

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience testing native mobile applications on iOS and/or Android platforms 

  • Proficiency in writing automated tests using Espresso (Kotlin) and/or XCUITest (Swift) 

  • Proven experience creating and implementing effective test strategies and approaches for mobile applications 

  • Strong understanding of mobile testing practices, mobile application architecture and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) 

  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes, analyze failures and improve automation reliability 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with configuring and running Continuous Integration (CI) tools like AWS CodeBuild and GitHub Actions.

  • Ability to collaborate closely with developers, UX designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality outcomes 

  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of resolving cross-team challenges and fostering alignment 

  • Practical experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams, including planning, executing, and reporting test strategies 

  • Capacity to deliver thoroughly tested functionality in a fast-paced, collaborative environment 

  • Experience in test automation beyond native mobile applications (such as web UI and backend/API) is an advantage 

  • ISTQB Foundation, Agile and/or Advanced Test Automation certification.

  • Active Cloud certification
