THE WORK:
  • You’ll provide inspection and quality assurance on highway and roadway construction projects.
  • You’ll determine whether completed work complies with plans and specifications.
  • You’ll coordinate work with the contractor and various public utility agencies.
  • You’ll maintain records and reports related to the project.
  • You’ll coordinate directly with the general contractor.
  • You’ll negotiate change orders.
  • You’ll assist in inspections to ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and special provisions.
  • You’ll assist in preparing contract change orders, contract estimates, progress pay estimates, and other required project documents or reports.
  • You’ll coordinate the sampling and testing of construction materials to monitor compliance with contract specifications.
  • You’ll monitor and track contractor progress.
  • You’ll prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

$126,000 - $150,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Graduation from a four-year ABET-accredited civil engineering program, or a valid EIT certification may be substituted for the required education
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in roadway construction inspection of highways or major public works projects performing duties described in this contract
  • OR
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in roadway construction inspection of highways or major public works projects performing duties described in this contract


BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Knowledge of Caltrans standards
  • Knowledge of the physical characteristics and properties of roadway construction materials including concrete and steel
