Please note: A portfolio is required for your application. Include a link in your CV or attach files please.
We’re looking for a Visual Design Intern with a passion for craft, icons, illustration, motion and curiosity about how it scales inside a real design system. You’ll join a cross-functional team shaping the visual language of a multi-platform product used by millions, working alongside experienced designers and engineers.
About the role
As part of the central Design System team, you’ll help create and maintain the visual layer of a multi-platform digital ecosystem. From drawing icons and producing motion to building and documenting components, your work will directly shape the quality and coherence of product design across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
Visual asset creation
- Draw and extend the shared icon library
- Create illustrations that hold up across sizes, themes, and surfaces
- Maintain a coherent visual language as the system evolves
Motion
- Design and produce component animations and micro-interactions
- Build production-ready Lottie files
- Create short videos for documentation and internal showcases
UI Design
- Basic component design knowledge
- Understanding of variables and design tokens
- Prototyping skills
Who are we looking for with regards to experience, skills & mindset?
Hands-on experience (internship, freelance, junior role, or strong school/side projects) in visual or UI design
Solid working knowledge of Figma, including components, variants, and variables
Experience with Adobe After Effects and Lottie for production-ready motion
A portfolio demonstrating visual range across icons, illustration, and motion
Fluent in English, written and verbal (minimum B2 level); Czech is a bonus
AI-curious. You already experiment with AI tools and want to fold them into your workflow rather than avoid them
Collaborative and communicative, able to align with both design and development stakeholders
Comfortable receiving and applying feedback with clear design rationale
