THE WORK
As a Senior Embedded C++ AUTOSAR Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping embedded software solutions by taking ownership of firmware architecture and contributing to high‑quality, maintainable systems.
Own the architecture of MCU firmware and AUTOSAR Classic components.
Discuss and review architecture internally and with customers.
Design, implement, and continuously improve software components such as RTE, COM, and PDU Routing, including code generators, tests, and documentation.
Review and approve requirements, architecture, design, code, tests, and documentation across the development lifecycle.
Apply a code‑first approach using modern C++ (C++11 and newer), without reliance on commercial AUTOSAR configuration or modeling tools.
Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office—depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in‑person time for collaboration, learning, and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Advanced knowledge of modern C++ (C++11 or newer) applied to embedded firmware and drivers.
Knowledge of AUTOSAR concepts, including RTE, communication, diagnostics, and storage.
Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
Understanding of RTOS and embedded operating system concepts.
Experience writing unit tests in C++ using gtest and gmock.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Knowledge of TriCore, ARM, and POSIX environments.
Experience with MISRA, CERT, or other static code analysis standards.
Experience with a scripting language.
Experience with Ruby, Python, and PyTest.
Knowledge of functional safety and security standards.
