About the Role

We’re looking for a API Sales Representative with strong experience selling consumption-based, cloud, or AI products to join our growing sales team. This role is designed for sellers who understand usage-driven revenue models, complex technical buying journeys, and long-term customer value creation, not traditional SaaS bookings alone.

In this role, you’ll work with developers, product teams, and technical decision-makers to understand their integration needs and guide them toward the right API solutions to help their organizations innovate. You’ll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and technical qualification to closing deals, all while providing an exceptional customer experience.

If you’re passionate about cloud infrastructure, AI, APIs, developer ecosystems, and helping businesses build with cutting-edge technology and you love working toward ambitious goals, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition by making outbound calls, emails, and leveraging digital channels to engage technical and product-focused prospects.
  • Own complex, multi-stage sales cycles focused on API adoption, usage ramp, and long-term consumption growth rather than one-time booking
  • Forecast, manage, and optimize usage-based pipeline, incorporating expected consumption, expansion paths, and customer growth signals
  • Qualify leads through consultative and technical conversations to understand integration requirements, engineering constraints, and business objectives. Position API solutions in the context of cloud compute, AI/data workloads, and developer ecosystems
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring prospects clearly understand API capabilities, pricing, and implementation paths.
  • Collaborate closely with Solutions Engineering to run successful demos, proofs of concept, or technical deep dives.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance KPIs.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, engineering, and customer success to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term adoption.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activity, qualification notes, pipeline stages, and forecasts in Salesforce (or other CRM tools).
  • Stay current on product updates, API documentation, rate limits, security considerations, and competitor offerings to effectively position our solutions in the market.
  • Translate customer feedback into insights that help improve APIs, developer experience, and GTM strategy.

Basic Qualifications

  • Completed High School Diploma (Irish Leaving cert or equivalent)
  • English C1 & Arabic C1

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in inside sales, outbound sales, SDR/BDR progression, or technical account management.
  • Proven experience selling consumption-based or usage-driven products (e.g., cloud compute, APIs, AI services) rather than pure SaaS subscription booking
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences (developers, product managers, business leaders).
  • Comfort discussing APIs, integration workflows, and basic technical architecture — no coding required, but technical aptitude is essential.
  • Driven, goal-oriented, and effective in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build trust quickly and guide technical buyers through a decision process.
  • Familiarity with SaaS products, cloud platforms, or developer tools is preferred.
  • Experience applying sales qualification methodologies (BANT or similar).
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus (but not required).
