Security Engineer – Sentor (Part of Accenture Cybersecurity)

As part of Accenture, Sentor covers the majority of cybersecurity services in Sweden — from offensive security such as penetration testing to defensive capabilities including SOC monitoring and managed security services. Joining our Stockholm office means becoming part of a hybrid, flexible, and forwardleaning work environment. You will work closely with passionate security professionals who are committed to improving the resilience of our clients across Sweden.
You will be part of our Managed Security Services (MSS) organization, which includes both the SOC team and our Security Engineers. The team consists of around 17 skilled professionals who work closely together, share knowledge continuously, and collaborate on solving practical cybersecurity challenges across varied industries. This is a tight-knit group where you will contribute, learn, and have a real impact on our clients’ security posture.
As a Security Engineer in our MSS team, you will play a key role in strengthening the defensive capabilities of our clients. Your responsibilities include:
Supporting SOC analysts in detection engineering, log onboarding, and incident investigations
Ensuring high-quality monitoring, alerting, and configuration of security tools, for e.g. Policy-based work within the Microsoft XDR suite in a SOC/MSS context involves designing, implementing, and tuning security policies that drive consistent detection, prevention, and response across endpoints, identities, email, and cloud environments
Working collaboratively with the broader cybersecurity teams — both offensive and defensive within Accenture
Participating in continuous improvement of detection capabilities, internal processes, and tooling within our team
Contributing to knowledge sharing and maintaining a strong engineering culture within the team
Supporting our clients as subject matter expert in projects regarding SIEM and XDR
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on security work, problem solving, and collaborating closely with colleagues to help protect clients from real-world threats.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in defensive operations – or equivalent experience in infrastructure DevOps
Based in the Stockholm area
Certifications related to security (e.g., CompTIA, GIAC, Microsoft Security) are a plus
Strong hands-on experience with implementation and management of SIEM platforms or different XDR platforms
Experience in Microsoft XDR
Experience with Microsoft Azure Sentinel, Splunk or ELK as SIEM solutions for security monitoring
Experience in regulatory framework alignment such as NIS2, NIST
Proficient in Python & PowerShell
Fluency in Swedish and English
Bonus if you have:
Experience with Threat Intelligence
Experience with Incident Response
Experience with OT / IoT environments

The position requires security classification. This means that a security clearance and background check will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Swedish Security Protection Act prior to employment. Swedish citizenship is required for this position.
