We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a Data Manager / Data Engineering Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end‑to‑end data solutions for data generation, collection, processing, and consumption. You will operate independently as a subject matter expert, contributing to technical decision‑making, mentoring the team, and ensuring reliable, scalable, and well‑governed data platforms.

Qualifications

  • +10 years of experience in Data Engineering and data solution design, with strong architectural mindset.

  • Solid expertise in data modeling, database design, and system integration at scale.

  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms and large-scale data environments.

  • Advanced knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, data governance, and best practices for data quality and security.

  • Proven ability to work with large datasets, optimizing data storage and processing performance.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and evolution of end-to-end data architectures and pipelines, ensuring scalable, resilient, and business-aligned data solutions across the organization.

  • Own and oversee complex ETL/ELT strategies.

  • Ensure enterprise-level data quality, reliability, and consistency.

  • Proactively monitor, optimize, and future-proof data pipelines with a strong focus on performance, cost efficiency, scalability, and high availability in production environments.

  • Act as a technical partner to stakeholders and cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into robust data solutions and influencing architectural decisions.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and technical authority, leading the resolution of complex data engineering challenges, mentoring peers, and supporting critical design decisions.

  • Define, enforce, and continuously improve data governance, security, and compliance practices, ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.

  • Own the documentation of data architectures, integration patterns, and operational procedures, ensuring knowledge is transferable and systems are maintainable at scale.

  • Contribute actively to technical leadership within the team, participating in architectural discussions, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Stay at the forefront of emerging data engineering trends and technologies, evaluating and selectively integrating innovative approaches that deliver clear business value.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced proficiency in data processing frameworks and distributed systems

  • Experience with data migrations and large-scale platform transformations

  • Exposure to streaming platforms and real-time data processing

  • Familiarity with DevOps or DataOps practices

  • Experience leading or mentoring data engineering teams
