Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology programs aligned to strategic business goals.
Manage cross-functional project teams, including software engineers, architects, business analysts, QA, and third-party vendors.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, budgets, and resource plans.
Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Engage closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and facilitating decision-making.
Drive adoption of Agile, Scrum, or SAFe frameworks as appropriate for delivery teams.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, introducing best practices for project governance, reporting, and quality assurance.
Ensure technology solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
Facilitate smooth handover of completed projects into operational support environments.
Qualifications
Key Requirements
Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in technology delivery leadership roles, ideally within complex or regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
Proven track record of managing enterprise-level IT initiatives, including cloud migrations, platform integrations, or digital transformation projects.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), with relevant certifications preferred (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist).
Excellent understanding of modern technology ecosystems including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architectures, and DevOps practices.
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills with the ability to motivate diverse technical and non-technical teams.
Highly skilled in stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution at senior leadership and executive levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to think strategically and execute tactically.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting quickly to changing business priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience working with international teams and managing offshore delivery models.
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and ServiceNow.
Knowledge of ITIL or service management frameworks is a plus.
