As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. Your work is focused on addressing unique business requirements through innovative software development, contributing to the overall enhancement of system performance and functionality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Maintain and update existing software components to improve reliability and performance.
- Document development processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Extend.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable software components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and API development within enterprise environments.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday Extend.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A Min 15 years of full time education is required.
