Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding multiple teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to align project outcomes with organizational goals, while ensuring that the solutions developed are robust, scalable, and maintain high performance. The lead also dedicates time to reviewing progress, addressing challenges, and fostering an environment that promotes innovation and quality throughout the development process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have influencing and Advisory skills.
- Engage with multiple teams and responsible for team decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams, and provide solutions to business area problems.
- Drive the establishment and enforcement of development standards to maintain consistency and quality across projects.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical capabilities and professional growth.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical strategies and solutions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Kinaxis.
- Strong expertise in software architecture design and implementation.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic development environment.
- Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and devise scalable solutions.
- Familiarity with performance optimization and code quality assurance practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 18 years of experience in Kinaxis.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
