Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. The role will provide critical thinking and a high degree of technical innovation and attention to detail while being recognized as a trusted advisor to the team and stakeholders. The characteristics include being versatile, displaying leadership qualities and enthusiasm to take on new problems across the full SDLC, ultimately assisting in moving technology forward. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands continuous alignment of development efforts with strategic business goals, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and maintain high performance. Collaboration across various teams and stakeholders is a key aspect, fostering an environment where innovation and quality are prioritized throughout the project execution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
- Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements & solutions
- Write well designed & high-quality testable code
- Integrate software components into fully functional platform
- Apply pro-actively & perform hands-on design and implementation of best practice CI/CD
- Develop/contribute to software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
- Deploy programs and evaluate customer feedback
- Comply with project plans, industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to improve software development processes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Java, Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Must Have:
- 7+ years Technology experience In JAVA, Spring and Cloud
- Experience on Software Delivery technical skills such as CI/CD, Automated Deployments, Automated Testing, Build Servers, Software / Source Code Configuration Management.
- Experience on Platform automation tools (DB Management, AWS, Jenkins, GITHUB)
- Experience in Workflow tools such as JIRA / Rally
- Hands on experience with Kafka
- Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable microservices architectures.
- Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of backend services.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management and deployment automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Gurugram Client office. And its mandate to work from client location 3 days/week.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
