Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle SOA Suite Consultant to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise integration solutions. The role requires deep expertise in Oracle SOA Suite, strong experience in middleware architectures, and the ability to lead integration programs across complex landscapes. Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is expected to support hybrid and cloud integration strategies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Integration Solution Design & Development: Lead design and development of enterprise integrations using Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, OSB), Architect scalable, high-performance integration solutions using SOA principles, Develop and review complex integration flows using REST/SOAP services and adapters, Ensure adherence to integration best practices, coding standards, and governance.
- Technical Leadership & Delivery: Lead end-to-end integration delivery across design, build, test, and deployment phases, Act as technical lead for SOA implementations and enhancements, Review deliverables, provide technical guidance, and ensure quality outcomes, Mentor junior developers and guide teams on best practices
- Architecture & Integration Strategy: Define integration architecture for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments, Drive adoption of modern integration technologies including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Support SOA to OIC transition/migration strategies where applicable, Collaborate with enterprise architects on system integration roadmaps
- Testing, Performance & Quality Assurance: Define and review testing strategies (unit, SIT, UAT) for integration solutions, Ensure robust error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms, Optimize performance and scalability of integration services, Conduct code reviews and quality audits
- Production Support & Governance: Provide L3 support for critical production issues and escalations, Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes, Ensure system stability, uptime, and SLA adherence, Drive continuous improvement across integration processes.
- Stakeholder & Client Management: Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, Translate business needs into technical integration solutions, Provide solution walkthroughs, technical recommendations, and impact assessments, Manage risks, dependencies, and communication across teams
- Documentation & Best Practices: Review and maintain integration design documents, interface specifications, deployment and support documentation. Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture and integration standards
Professional & Technical Skills:
- 8–10 years of experience in Oracle SOA Suite / Integration technologies
- Strong hands-on experience in: Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, OSB) & Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML, XSLT, XPath
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions
- Strong working knowledge of Java, SQL, and PL/SQL
- Expertise in tools such as JDeveloper, Eclipse, Git, Jenkins
- Working knowledge / hands-on exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Understanding of hybrid integration patterns (SOA + OIC)
- Exposure to API-led integration, cloud adapters, and event-driven architecture
- Experience or involvement in SOA to OIC migration (preferred)
Additional Information:
- Good to have: -Experience with Oracle Fusion / ERP / SCM integrations (OTM, WMS) Knowledge of DevOps practices in integration delivery Exposure to message queues, event streaming, or microservices
- Oracle certifications (SOA Suite / Integration Cloud / Middleware)
- This position is based at multiple Accenture offices.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
