As a Program or Project Management Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the comprehensive delivery of programs or projects to ensure alignment with business objectives. This role requires defining the scope of projects clearly and continuously monitoring the progress of deliverables to maintain quality and timeliness. The position demands active communication with various stakeholders to manage expectations, address challenges, and ensure successful outcomes. The role is dynamic, involving coordination across different teams and adapting to evolving project needs to drive overall success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead strategic planning and execution to align project goals with organizational priorities.
- Facilitate effective communication channels among stakeholders to ensure transparency and timely resolution of issues.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Portfolio and Project Management.
- Strong expertise in project lifecycle management including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage complex project dependencies.
- Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and communication to align project deliverables with business needs.
- Competence in using project management tools and methodologies to optimize resource allocation and track progress.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP Portfolio and Project Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
