Cost Controller
Core deliverables for a Cost Controller:
- Complete accrual process within Finance deadline Day - 5
- Complete month end forecast within deadline. Day +1 every month except Latest Estimation months which are March, June and September where due date is Day-1.
- Complete month end reporting update (finance variance report and MPR report)
- Conduct monthly meetings with PMs to have most updated information for accruals, trends and forecast, and any other regular meetings required.
- Analysis and understanding of what the variances are each month and why
- Keep monthly Cost Books in completion and saved in SharePoint
- PR/POs creation or facilitation for responsible projects/area
- Assisting PMs to complete and submit AFEs for a timely funding release
- Assisting in ACP, CSRA and PER when required
- PO closures and project closures for a good housekeeping and assisting Finance to capitalize projects
- Update AFE and WBS registers when new AFE is in process
- Always have data accuracy in place to assist Project Team in decision making process
HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Advanced proficiency in SAP CO Product Cost Controlling.
Advanced proficiency in Financial Processes.
A minimum of 4 of experience in relevant related skills.
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of studies.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Intermediate proficiency in Finance Processes and Systems.
Intermediate proficiency in Financial Management Reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Business Process Analysis.
Intermediate proficiency in Risk Management.
Beginner proficiency in Continuous Improvement Methodologies.
