We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer to design, build, manage, and optimize enterprise-grade databases supporting critical business and government systems.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain relational and non‑relational databases

Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching

Monitor database performance and carry out tuning and optimization

Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies

Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with governance standards

Support production environments and troubleshoot complex issues

Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams

Automate routine database operations and maintenance tasks

Participate in system design reviews and capacity planning
Required Skills & Experience
-
Strong experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases

Solid knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization

Experience with backup and recovery tools (e.g., RMAN, native cloud tools)

Familiarity with high availability / disaster recovery solutions

Strong Linux/Unix operating system knowledge

Experience working in secure or regulated environments

Understanding of database security principles and access management
-
3–8+ years of relevant database engineering or DBA experience (depending on level)
