The Role:

Primarily based in The Dock on Hanover Quay, the AV & Events Support Technician will provide first line support for our Accenture customers and client visits. The technician will report directly to the Ireland AV & Events team lead and work alongside the team of two other technicians. The technical side of the role will involve troubleshooting the AV installations which includes: Microsoft surface hubs, Cyviz video walls, Shure microphones, Planar/NEC/LG displays, Cisco Video Conferencing devices, PC/MAC/Android/IOS. The events side of the role will involve supporting live events in The Dock, Grand Canal Square and Grand Canal Plaza.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Respond to incidents logged via IT service desk, team email distribution or in person. With a focus on maintaining ownership and ensuring compliance as per Accenture standards for all supported devices.
  • Set up and install additional equipment as required for the AV offering (video displays, neat cable management for both video/audio distribution including portable PA systems) for events and functions.
  • Act as a Cyviz subject matter expert to ensure dynamic and innovative use of the Cyviz installations for business as usual and special events.
  • Regular reviews of asset register and inventory management.
  • Proactively maintain and update team SharePoint documentation including AV schematics, floor maps, how to guides, team training material and configuration guides provided by our global team.

What do we require?

  • A minimum of 18 months to 2 years of relevant AV experience
  • Strong customer and client relationship management essential 
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting PC/MAC workstations advantageous
  • An interest in completing and becoming certified in Avixa CTS
  • A passion for all things AV and technology related with a view to advise on solutions for future projects and installs for the UKI AV campus.
