Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering to prepare data for analysis.
Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and continuously improve skills in data science and machine learning.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
Validate and evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and techniques.
Document technical specifications, methodologies, and project requirements, and maintain project documentation as needed.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other agile processes.
Qualifications
Proficient in developing T-SQL scripts using Structured Query Language (SQL).
Knowledgeable about the design concepts and structures of transactional relational databases and analytical data warehouses.
Skilled in managing and configuring SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
Capable of developing ETL processes using Airflow, Python, and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
Proficient in SQL query analysis and optimization.
Understands SQL Server database maintenance tasks such as Backup/Restore, index maintenance, and query store analysis.
Experienced in developing and managing big data platforms using Hadoop with HDFS and Apache Hive.
Familiar with system design documentation using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD).
Capable of operating Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) platforms such as Azure DevOps and/or Jira.
Has a strong understanding of the concepts and implementations of the System Development Lifecycle and its methodologies
Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Desire to work in an information system environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
