About the role

We are seeking an experienced ICAM Lead to provide end‑to‑end architecture leadership and delivery oversight across enterprise identity, access management, and credential platforms. This role is accountable for technical direction, solution integrity, and successful delivery outcomes across multiple identity capabilities and teams.

You will act as the senior point of accountability for ICAM architecture and delivery, working closely with client stakeholders, platform leads, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned to business and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Owning the overall ICAM architecture and delivery outcomes across identity governance, authentication, authorisation, privileged access, and cryptographic services.
  • Defining and governing the target state ICAM architecture, including integration patterns and cross‑platform alignment.
  • Acting as the primary client-facing technical authority for ICAM, supporting workshops, design decisions, and executive discussions.
  • Providing architectural oversight and guidance to delivery teams across:
    • Identity governance and lifecycle management
    • Authentication and access management
    • Privileged access and secrets management
    • Policy‑based authorisation
  • Ensuring consistency, security, and quality across ICAM implementations.
  • Managing technical risks, dependencies, and cross‑stream impacts.
  • Supporting delivery planning, sequencing, and prioritisation across ICAM initiatives.
  • Contributing to governance artefacts, architectural documentation, and delivery assurance.

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years’ experience in identity, access management, or security architecture roles.
  • Proven experience leading large‑scale ICAM programs or portfolios.
  • Strong background across multiple IAM disciplines (IGA, PAM, AuthN/AuthZ).
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior client stakeholders and influence outcomes.
  • Strong architectural judgement and delivery pragmatism.

Security clearance

Current Baseline Australian Government security clearance

Must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week
