Marco Ziegler leads the Office of the Chair & CEO at Accenture. In this role, Marco is responsible for working with Chair & CEO Julie Sweet in creating and executing her client engagement strategy, collaborating with ecosystem relationship leaders, representing her internally and externally, and overseeing all functions of her office. He is also a member of the Global Management Committee.
With more than 20 years of consulting experience, including strategy, technology and outsourcing for clients in North America, Europe and Asia, Marco has led some of Accenture’s most important relationships with Fortune 100 companies across the Consumer Products, Retail and Health industries. He serves as the Accenture relationship sponsor for one the world’s largest Retail Health companies, focused on transforming and digitizing the way people access and consume health. Marco was the creator of Marketing Operations services for Accenture and thrives on helping clients accelerate their digital transformations.
Marco is a leader in helping Accenture become the most diverse company on the planet. He serves as the Global Pride Network Sponsor for Accenture and was included on the Crain’s New York Business Notable LGBTQ Leaders & Executives list for 2021.
Marco serves as the president of the board for the German Language School in Northern New Jersey and recently joined the board of the Hetrick Martin Institute, which provides mentoring and mental support for LGBTQ teenagers.
