Job Summary:
The role involves providing Level 3 application maintenance and production support for SWIFT-related solutions within a secure financial services environment. The engineer will ensure high availability, stability, and reliability of mission-critical applications, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous improvements across the SWIFT platform ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 support for SWIFT solutions including AMH, AMG, and SAG.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs.
- Support incident management, problem management, and service restoration activities.
- Participate in deployment activities, patching, and configuration updates.
- Ensure the stability and smooth operation of applications running on RHEL or equivalent Linux environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency.
- Use Control-M for job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and known issues.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with SWIFT Solutions: AMH, AMG, SAG (mandatory).
- Strong experience with RHEL (or other equivalent Linux distro like SUSE Linux) (mandatory).
- Proficiency with .
- Knowledge of Control-M job scheduler (mandatory).
- Shell scripting experience (mandatory).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of Java Spring Boot.
- Exposure to JBoss application server.
- Experience with Apache web server.
- Experience working in Citrix environments.
- Prior experience in highly secured environments (financial services preferred).
- Understanding of audits, encryption, 2FA/MFA security practices.
- Familiarity with SWIFT MTxxx message formats and ISO20022 standards.
