ROLE SUMMARY: Responsible for acting as the Technical Specialist on Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects, providing direction as the subject matter expert. The Oracle HCM Cloud- Technical Specialist will lead the project team members responsible for developing reports, data conversion programs, integrations, and application extensions to ensure quality of work and deadlines are met. Responsible for working with the Cloud Implementation Project Manager to plan and schedule all technical development activities to meet defined scope and milestones, while identifying and leading new business opportunities to grow our technical practice.


Must Have Experience/Skills:  

  • Minimum 8 years of experience implementing some combination of Oracle HCM modules such as CoreHR, Compensation, Time & Labour, Absence Management, Payroll, Talent Management, Benefits and Recruitment preferred. 
  • Minimum of three (3) successfully delivered HCM Cloud Implementations leading technical work streams as an HCM Technical Lead  
  • Must have Oracle Cloud HCM Processes and System knowledge 
  • Strong technical skills in HCM Extracts, Oracle Cloud data loaders (HDL and spreadsheet loader), BI Publisher and fast formulas 
  • Proficient in developing/designing Integrations, Data conversions and Reports
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Tools, specifically PowerPoint, Project, and Excel 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Ability to work with executive leaders to drive  
  • Experience reporting to senior client contacts, managing client teams, in addition to on and offsite, and offshore functional and technical teams 
  • Must have experience collaborating with clients on business process enhancements 

Nice to Have Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and/ or 10 + years of related work experience.
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in  British Columbia as set forth below.
