In our team you will learn:
To work with Product Owners, Technical Architects, Business Analysts, Designers, Researchers and Customer Leads
To test innovation ideas in the market and to own responsibility for project viability, market attractiveness, competitive assessments, product feature alignment, market segmentation, pricing, and a beachhead go-to-market plan
To lead and work positively and effectively within highly talented, constructive and experienced teams. This is very much a role that requires balance and flexibility between discipline and creativity and requires being adaptable and practical within fast-changing environments.
Responsibilities:
Work with global Fortune 500 clients on some of their most important innovation ideas and challenges
Work for a small, but high growth consulting business, within one of the world’s largest Professional Services firms.
Have ownership of your work, with responsibility, autonomy and accountability
Work with Product and Customer project leads to coordinate work objectives and results
Help clients evaluate and prioritize innovation initiatives
Help clients move from idea to growth, to cashflow and growth
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Experienced in any role that helped customers and had a revenue impact
Minimum of 2 years people management experience
Commercial experience in a technical / software and / or high growth company would be preferred
Excellent analysis, problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent time and self-management through effective planning & prioritisation of tasks
Strategy consulting, Product Manager, VC, PE or Financial/Commodity market experience could be a plus
A fluency in structured thinking, with second nature hypothesis forming, story telling while working with incomplete information
Excellent and critical understanding of Economics, Finance and Marketing, preferably demonstrated by real world experience rather than business school credentials (both are, of course, welcome)
Other desirable areas of experience: market sizing and segmentation, understanding market trends and key drivers, identifying relative and adjacent competitive arenas, identifying customer demands and needs, understanding different research methods and applications, value proposition creation, understanding different business models, product pricing, solid understanding of macro - economics, financial modelling, genuine interest and curiosity in innovation, investing, or any related field
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
