Responsible for supporting the delivery of Accenture's security offerings related to information
security, with a focus on data protection programs planning, policies and procedures development, strategy, data classification, data privacy, data encryption, data privacy / risk assessments, and implementation of programs and cloud based data protection solutions.
 
Security generalist with working knowledge of security and privacy frameworks, compliance (security and privacy) requirements and security and privacy department planning and operations. • Ability to lead managers, consultants, and junior security analysts.
 
Ability to support project opportunities through solution design, proposal development, and staffing plans Conversant in more advanced project management principles and project quality methods.
 
Maintain at least one current recognized security professional certification such as CISSP, CIPP, CISM, CISA or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor. • Preference for at least one current recognized technical certification such as Symantec CSP in Data Protection, Certified McAfee Security Specialist (CMSS - DLP Focus), Websense Data Security Suite (DSS) Professional, Informatic Certified Specialist or Expert, or RSA Certified Additional responsibilities may include:
 
Working directly with clients and Accenture teams to design and implement program strategies for data protection and data privacy, data classification, digital rights management, data masking, encryption, cloud based data protection solutions, and industry or regulatory compliance.
Performing requirements analysis and developing strategies and solutions for information and data governance.
Performing data protection and data privacy risk assessments and creating current state assessment, gap analyses, and strategic implementation roadmaps.
Performing risk remediation cost-benefit-analysis for a variety of solutions. Ability to understand client business objectives and create optimized information security organizations to meet business needs while reducing risk to revenue
Ability to conduct tool selection with advanced business and technical requirements.
Ability to show return on investment and business process improvements for investments in data protection and privacy, security programs and technologies.
Ability to develop and integrate security and privacy metrics and reporting programs for key security, privacy, risk, compliance, and service continuity indicators.
Ability to translate technical requirements into business terms for executive stakeholders.
Ability to streamline operations, while maintaining compliance with legal, best-practice, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to align business processes and functional requirements with data protection and privacy programs and Data Protection technology solutions.
Ability to understand and create key risk metrics and KRI’s

 

Data Protection Specialist
 
For this specific role, the following qualifications are what we are seeking in a candidate.
 
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in Information Technology
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience of security experience
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience of management experience
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in designing, developing, implementing, and managing a data protection or data privacy program
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience related to at least three of the following: data security and/or assessments, sensitive data discovery, security and privacy policy development, data protection or security strategy, general IT, data privacy and security controls development, sensitive data inventory, compliance readiness (i.e PCI, GAPP, SOX, HIPAA, GLBA) or technical security architecture/design.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience of Data Encryption, Data Masking, DLP, DRM, Data Classification, or Cloud based Data Protection solutions with at least one or combination of the following vendors SecureData/Voltage, Vormetric, Informatics, Titus, CipherCloud, Symantec DLP, Websense DSS, RSA DLP, McAfee, Verdasys, and GigaTrust
  • Strongly prefer experience in assessing or building a data protection and privacy programs, data encryption and masking skills, data classification skills, sensitive data discovery and inventory skills, and cloud based data protection solutions
  • Understanding of privacy/data privacy standards and regulations local, domestic and global (State Level Data Protection, ISO, GAPP, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, HiTrust, Privacy by Design, GDPR, EU Data Protection Directives, APEC Privacy Framework)
  • Knowledge of multiple security vendors and security product capabilities across different security domains Working knowledge of multiple security domains
  • Experience with project management and delivering complex projects
  • Exposure to multiple Data Protection solutions and technologies including - Data Encryption, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Masking / Tokenization, Digital Rights Management, Data Classification and Cloud based Data Protection Solutions
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in at least 2 of the following technologies with at least one of the following vendors - Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian, Thales/Vormetric, Spirion, MicroFocus SecureData/Voltage, Verdasys, GigaTrust, Informatica, BigID, Ionic, Bolden James, or Titus software
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
  • Demonstrate first class written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner. 
  • Possess drive, determination and optimism with proven ability to adapt and remove obstacles to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
  • Demonstrated work experience within data strategy, management and operational reporting and enabling technologies.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting;    
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA preferred
  • Technical certification such as Symantec CSP in Data Protection, Certified McAfee Security Specialist (CMSS - DLP Focus), or Informatica Certified Specialist or Expert
