Your role and responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage large Capital Programs for our Rail clients, integrating stakeholders across their organization to ensure effective program/solutions delivery
  • Demonstrate your strong understanding of Program Management techniques and controls – as applied to a large Rail Operator
  • Effectively manage large, integrated teams of consultants, technology practitioners and subject matter experts
  • Identify, solve, communicate and mitigate all risks and incidents faced by the client and the Accenture team
  • Demonstrate your strong understanding of the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers and business trends
  • Ensure client expectations are properly set and met in a fast-paced environment
  • Develop and maintain a network and productive relationships with client and prospective clients
  • Develop consulting opportunities and covert them to sold work
  • Develop proposals, secure new projects and successfully manage those on time / on budget.
  • Ensure the effective evolution and growth of Accenture’s Rail Industry consulting practice, through your contribution of effective thought leadership and insight in respect to emerging technologies, techniques and industry trends 
Your experience:
  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in the Rail sector
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Management Consulting, with focus being Program Management for large Rail assets/operations.
  • Experience leading enterprise-level, complex change programs impacting multiple business units
  • Proven track record of success in client relationship management and business development at the C-Suite levels.
  • Relevant to Rail Program Management; experience within the following areas:  Incident-Management, Capital Projects Delivery, Rail Infrastructure and Operations, Asset Management & Customer Experience. 
  • Ability to travel if/when required.
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
