Job Description
As a Test Engineer, you are responsible for the preparation and execution of functional, integration and regression test scripts and data. We will rely on you to identify defects against software requirements, defect lifecycle management, and communicate the test results and defects status in an effective and timely manner.
We are looking for someone who can:
● Work directly with product owners and senior stakeholders on data quality challenges
● Have thorough understanding of the data workflows in the platform and their interaction with other products within the Product & Technology organisation
● Maintain and monitor the quality of the data within the platform
● Maintain and monitor the quality of the data in the Knowledge Graph supported by the team via manual updates or using existing automation
● Collaborate with 3-rd party vendors providing NLP capabilities and evaluate the quality of their services
● Train, monitor and update ML models via existing command line tools
● Contribute to company-wide processes, frameworks and guidelines
Qualifications
● Good command of written and spoken English
● Experience in modern database technologies (AWS/cloud-based/in-memory etc.), scripting languages
● Experience using command line tools and working in Linux/Unix environments
● Good database querying skills in any relational database technology (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
● Experience with document based databases (MongoDB)
● Experience working with data sources of varying volumes, variety and velocity
● Experience with using REST API (via tools like curl, Postman) and JSON data format
