Job Description

The individual must

-      have outstanding, consistent academic performance

-      be willing to travel 80 to 100% of the time  

-      have good financial acumen and financial analysis and diagnostic skills

-      have an eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented and collaborative environment

-      be able to work creatively and analytically to strict deadlines in a problem-solving environment

-      be comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the "C" level executives in a range of environments

-      be comfortable functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm

-      have good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

-      possess excellent presentation skills

-      possess and demonstrate high integrity and credibility as perceived by all those with whom s/he will work

-      have strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts

-      be diplomatic, flexible, and have a good team approach

 

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities - Consultant

-      Construct components of a business case          

-      Effectively leverage sales resources (e.g., Sales Effectiveness Website)

-      Define project scope (work segments, priorities, dependencies, deliverables, required effort and budget) based  on Accenture methodology

-      Understand and report on project cost, schedule and quality measures      

-      Appropriately question and engage in dialogue to understand client/sponsor requirements and expectations

-      Work effectively with the client to facilitate requirements gathering. 

-      Analyze and assure quality of the data collected

-      Conduct As-Is assessments on business capabilities, processes, people and technology

-      Apply business diagnosis and planning tools to document as-is capabilities

-      Prepare summary findings and participate in conducting gap analysis between as-is processes and best practice

-      Assist in formulating the specific solutions to address prioritized gaps

-      Supervise business diagnosis and planning activities

-      Proactively raise issues and risks; and propose appropriate resolutions     

-      Facilitate meetings and team presentations 

-      Create a project work plan that is aligned with scope, timeline, and approach providing detailed assignments to team members          

-      Provides direct, frequent feedback, dealing honestly with people who are not meeting expectations in their growth

-      Coach others to improve their performance, in pursuit of their career goals            

-      Establish and track assignments for individuals and small teams  

-      Manage work assignments in a multi workforce environment        

 

Experience

 

Prior work experience preferably from a consulting organization or should have deep domain/industry expertise

 

 

Utilities and BPR

 

Should have prior experience in one or more of the following areas:

 

Design the to-be process map with identification of all relevant process/organizational information, on the basis of the new organization structure and best practices from similar work environment, obtaining the sign off on new processes from the PMO and the Steering Committee.

Ensure continuous alignment of the BPR activities with other work streams

In specific processes and interfaces experience within the utilities industry.

 

Finance & Performance Management F&PM

 

Should have prior experience in one or more of the following areas:

Corporate Finance - finance strategy, Tax Operational Excellence, Treasury Operational Excellence Corporate Risk Management; Enterprise Performance Management -  Shareholder Value Analysis, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Metrics, Reporting & Analysis, Enabling Technologies for EPM, EPM Outsourcing; Finance Operations - Organizational Analysis/Design, Process Improvements , Enabling Technologies for Finance Operations, Finance & Accounting Outsourcing

 

 

Supply Chain Management (SCM)

 

Should have prior experience in one or more of the following areas:

Sourcing & Procurement, Planning & Forecasting, Manufacturing, Process & Innovation Performance;

Product Innovation and Product Lifecycle Management.
