Domingo Mirón is Accenture’s chief risk officer. He is also the market unit lead of Accenture in Iberia, which consists of Spain, Portugal and Israel. He is a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.
Prior to taking this role in March 2020, Domingo was Accenture’s group chief executive of Financial Services, which served the banking, capital markets and insurance industries. Before this, he was group operating officer for Financial Services, responsible for executing the business strategy and driving operational excellence across the organization.
Domingo previously led Accenture's Financial Services business in Iberia from 2014 to 2016. He was Accenture’s senior managing director – Financial Services, Growth & Strategy from 2011 to 2014. From 2009 to 2011, he led Accenture's banking business in Europe, Africa and Latin America.
Throughout his career, Domingo has led major projects spanning internationalization, process-improvement and operating-model design for both Spanish and international banking and insurance clients.
Domingo is a strong advocate for business and social transformation led by digitization and the intensive usage of technology with the aim of achieving a positive impact on businesses, people and the planet.
Domingo is president of the Accenture Foundation in Spain where he has been an active member since it was founded more than 15 years ago. The Foundation contributes to the transformation and digitalization of society through free consulting initiatives and by training and reskilling vulnerable people in the labor market.
In addition, Domingo participates in and serves on the boards of key business and social organizations such as the CEOE (Spanish Confederation of Employers' Organizations) and the Foreign Multinationals for the Spain brand, which includes Fundación SERES, the Royal Opera House in Madrid, the Princess of Asturias Foundation and the Princess of Girona Foundation.
Domingo joined Accenture in 1989 and became a partner in 2000. He has a degree in mathematics from Complutense University of Madrid and is a graduate of the Management Development Program at IESE Business School (University of Navarra).
