Job Title: SAP BPC Embedded Manager

Role Purpose

The SAP BPC Embedded Manager is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of SAP BPC Embedded solutions on SAP BW/4HANA or SAP S/4HANA. The role combines solution ownership, team leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery governance to ensure planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation solutions meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end SAP BPC Embedded implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Own solution architecture and ensure alignment with SAP best practices and enterprise standards
  • Drive design of planning and data models, business rules, allocations, and workflows
  • Ensure integration with SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA
  • Manage and mentor SAP BPC consultants
  • Stakeholder & Client Management
  • Act as primary point of contact for business stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Translate business planning and finance requirements into technical solutions
  • Facilitate design workshops and solutioning
  • Manage expectations, risks, dependencies, and escalations
  • Governance, Quality & Risk Management
  • Ensure delivery governance, documentation, and sign-off processes are followed
  • Oversee testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT) and deployment activities
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and performance-optimised
  • Advise on transition strategies from legacy planning tools. Have knowledge of SAP BPC roadmap strategy

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP BPC Embedded
  • Solid understanding of SAP BW / BW/4HANA data modelling (aDSOs, Composite Providers, Queries)
  • Experience with SQL, FOX, ABAP for BW, and planning functions
  • Integration experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance

Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation
  • Understanding of finance concepts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Ability to bridge finance and technical teams effectively

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Delivery-focused with excellent problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable engaging at senior management and executive level

Experience

  • 10+ years SAP BPC experience
  • 7+ years hands-on SAP BPC Embedded experience
  • 5+ years in a lead or manager role

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • SAP certification(s) in BPC embedded
