Role Overview: 
As a Data Architect, you will design and define data requirements, models, and structures to optimize application performance and ensure seamless data integration. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Data & AI , influencing decisions and providing solutions that apply across teams. This role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in mining or related industries. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement innovative data strategies to enhance application performance. 

  • Design data models, structures, and storage solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance. 

  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures. 

  • Identify and resolve data-related challenges across projects. 

  • Stay abreast of advancements in data architecture and emerging trends. 

Competencies: 

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making influence across teams. 

  • Ability to lead and define the data scope within an enterprise architecture framework. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with senior stakeholders. 

  • Master proficiency in Data & AI . 

  • Strong expertise in Data Access, Data Architecture Principles, Data Taxonomy, and AI processes. 

  • Proven experience in data modeling, defining data requirements, and implementing governance frameworks. 

  • Preferred certifications: TOGAF and relevant data certifications (e.g., DAMA or equivalent). 

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and advisory skills. 

  • Experience in the mining industry or large-scale enterprise projects is highly advantageous.
