Project Role Description : Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage; and drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.

Summary:
As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing policies that safeguard the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and uphold data standards. Throughout the day, the practitioner facilitates processes related to data collection, storage, access, and usage, ensuring that these activities align with governance frameworks. Additionally, the role includes driving initiatives that promote data stewardship, fostering a culture of responsibility and accountability across the organization to maintain comprehensive and effective data governance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to continuously improve data governance frameworks and practices within the organization.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment on data governance objectives.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and mentoring to enhance their understanding of data governance principles.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Analysis & Interpretation, Data Governance, Python (Programming Language), Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Experience with data quality management and data lifecycle processes.
- Ability to design and implement data governance frameworks and policies.
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques to effectively communicate data governance metrics and outcomes.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data stewardship and compliance initiatives.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Analysis & Interpretation.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
