WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Responsible for abiding by the Service Requirements and the KPIs/SLA 

  • End-to-end delivery of the project: from project initiation, through project execution until successful closure of the project
  • Draft regular status reports about KPIs/SLA fulfilment 
  • Propose, discuss, and implement measures for service and resource optimisation 
  • Accountable for all divergence regarding the expected quality  
  • Management of project schedule, resources and quality
  • Management of resources across different location
  • Cooperate with all relevant stakeholders: client, client team, internal quality department, potential contractors and any other stakeholders
  • Present on a regular basis the activity reports and the Service improvement plan to the customer 
  • Generate, lead and communicate metrics to key stakeholders, including those that are not well versed in agile practices (e.g. Velocity, Burndown, Burnup, EAC, Earned Value, etc.)
  • Understand and promote the benefits of DevOps approaches and tooling such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, test automation, code quality analysis, etc. 
  • Manage risks and issues and serve as escalation point for the project
  • Act as a point of escalations 
  • Provide regular status reporting to internal senior management and towards client/client team
  • Effectively leading technical professionals
  • Ensuring execution of quality deliverables within established schedules
  • Collaborating with client and/or client team to improve processes, results and understand client expectation
  • Analyze and develop estimates for new features or requirements together with the technical team
  • Participate in pre-sales opportunities
  • Motivate the team and serve as team builder of the team

Qualifications

What do we expect from you: 

  • 2-6 years of proven experience in leading of IT projects and in service delivery management
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership ability with interpersonal skills and team building skills
  • Nominal experience within an IT Service Management role developing IT processes, information flow, associated reports, and applications for defined service domain 
  • Familiar with risk management
  • Practical experience engaging with DevOps teams, tooling and practices 
  • Practical experience in an Azure Cloud Managed Services business 
  • Fundamental knowledge of Networking and Hosting technologies and solutions 
  • Fundamental knowledge of big data concepts (storage, pipelines and utilization of data) 
  • Proven track record in successful project execution
  • Experience in Team Building and Team Management
  • Analytical and Problem solving skills
  • Strong customer orientation skills
  • German language is a great advantage - nice to have
  • Fluent English

Recommended Certifications

  • PMP, PM² or Prince2 certified
  • Agile Scrum certified
  • ITIL certified (ITIL V3 or later)
  • Any cloud foundation certification

Educational Requirements

Master’s Degree in computer science or related field or equivalent professional experience
