As a Software test Leader, you will strategise and lead the test plans and methodologies along with a team of software test consultants, engineers and analyst. You will be responsible for owning the test frameworks, reviewing tests, looking for gaps, and driving improved test processes.


What you get to do in this role:

  • Plan, construct, and execute test scripts through the use of quality processes and methodologies for Accenture or our clients.
  • Develop, update, and maintain quality testing standards and procedures.
  • Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts.
  • Create test models (plans, data and scripts), including test data.
  • Execute testing efforts by delivering application and component releases.
  • Execute regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality, and usability testing. Review the development process to ensure that defect tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing and migration of defects) is properly addressed.
  • Facilitate structured walk-through and peer reviews.
  • Assist and lead test Engineers with highly complex issues on testing approach, design, implementation, and other technical matters
  • Participates with management in strategic planning for testing policies and procedures
  • Assist and understand strategic direction and implement methods and procedures set by management.
  • Guide and work together with the team to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
  • Build and manage a QA/Software testing Team


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 12 years of experience in managing software projects using industry standard SDLC
  • Experience managing personnel
  • Great organizational skills
  • Ability to write clear and concise documentation
  • Good oral communication and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multitask on various assignments
  • Must have expert knowledge of QA/testing processes, tools and methodologies
